
The Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport Terminal is staffed seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The airport itself is open 24 hours a day for arriving and departing aircraft.

Every effort is made to have snow plowing completed by 8 AM. Check with your local Flight Service Station regarding runway surface condition reports or telephone directly to the Airport Manager. A snowplow, snow blower and urea spreader are used to maintain the airport runway during the winter months. The grass runway, 16/34 is for summer use only.

The Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport keeps a good supply of 100 Lowlead, Jet A-1 (Premium auto fuel) on hand. A fuel attendant is available from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM daily. After 4:30 PM, a callout fee of $30 is applicable. Please provide advance notice if you require after hours fueling. The Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport is unique in its ability to offer regular clients access to fuel through a Keytrol Fuel System. Each "subscriber" has his own individual key and meter allowing access to fuel at any time. At the end of the month, an invoice is mailed to the client. The Keytrol System provides the fastest, most efficient, self service fueling known. Clients vary from military helicopter squadrons to pipeline patrol aircraft. Would you like your own key? The Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport has an Authorized Approach Unicom. The Airport Staff are permitted to transmit the following information: wind direction and speed, altimeter setting, aerodrome traffic and aerodrome information. The Brockville Unicom operates on 123.0 MHz. Should the Unicom not be in operation, pilots should broadcast their intentions to "Brockville Traffic".

3B is the Morse identifier for the Brockville NDB. This low power, instrument approach aid transmits on 391 KHz and is located 4 miles Northeast of the airport.
Pilots may key up the runway edge lights, runway identification lights (ie strobes Rwy 04) and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI Rwy 04/22) on 123.3 MHz. These lights will revert to their "Low" settings after 15 minutes. Three keys of the mike will turn up the edge lights to "Low", five keys to "Medium" and seven keys to a "High" intensity setting. Brockville's Medium Intensity Approach Lights Sequenced Flashing (MALSF) used to lie up Rwy 22, are also pilot activated. 3, 5, or 7 keys of the microphone on 123.5 will vary the intensity required. Again, the MALSF lights will be on for 15 minutes unless reselected. The rotating beacon turns "OFF" automatically at midnight and is not pilot activated.
Overnight parking and tie down space is normally available. Check with the Airport Manager for current rates. Hangar space is very limited. Please advise of your requirement in advance.
Weather briefings, NOTAMS and Flight Planning is attainable, free of charge, through any Canadian Flight Service Station at 1-866-WXBRIEF. To radio a Canadian Flight Service Station, transmit on 126.7 MHz. London radio (FISE) can usually be reached over Brockville, at an altitude of 2,500 feet. If you'd like a hard copy of weather and NOTAMs, ask Flight Service to fax you at the Brock Air, Brockville office 1-613-342-4588. A public telephone in the terminal entry is available 24 hours a day. To open or close a flight plan on this telephone, dial 0 and tell the operator that you would like the following number: 1-866-WXBRIEF (992-1433).
Pilots flight planning to the Brockville - 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport may wish to access the Ogdensburg, NY AWOS for that airport's current weather conditions, tel (315)393-8982. The Ogdensburg AWOS transmits 24 hours a day.
The Ogdensburg AWOS can also be heard on 118.525 MHz. When approaching CNL3, the AWOS can normally be received about 10 miles back at an altitude of 2500ft ASL.
Although located only 12 miles East of CNL3, caution must always be exercised as local weather conditions at CNL3 may differ significantly from that of Ogdensburg.
